Founding Tattva

Nimisha and Sudhiksha, currently 11th-grade students at Oakridge International School, Gachibowli (Newton Campus), founded Tattva after a profound experience during a school CAS trip to a government school. During their visit, they were  struck by the dire lack of basic hygiene facilities—students had no access to bathrooms, leaving them with no choice but to use public areas. This stark reality made them realize how fortunate they were to have access to basic health and hygiene facilities, which should be a fundamental right for everyone. They also recognized that these children lacked essential life skills such as effective communication, teamwork, and leadership. Motivated to make a difference, they established Tattva with a mission to improve the health and hygiene standards in underprivileged schools and to provide students with essential life skills. The initiative also addresses important topics such as gender roles and relationships, aiming to empower children with the knowledge and skills needed for their growth and development. Nimisha and Sudhiksha believe that every child has the potential to achieve greatness, and through Tattva, they are committed to helping these students realize their fullest potential.
